    This tour provides a bird’s eye view of the rivers, landscape, mountains, and culture of Kumaon and Garhwal Himalaya. Situated on the Western Border of Nepal, Kumaon has similar landscape, features of people living there as from Nepal. Kali River divides Kumaon from Nepal. We also visit Corbett National Park and interiors of Kumaon like Munsiari where we find Bhotia tribes which are a mixTibetan and Kumaoni race with their sharp Mangoloid features.

    Day 01:DELHI

    Arrive in Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing of Old & New Delhi, visiting, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Shanti Van, Humayun Tomb, President House, India Gate and Qutab Minar.

    Day 02:DELHI/RISHIKESH(340 m)

    Drive 225 Km/6 hrs. Rishikesh, situated on the banks of holy river Ganga, is a great pilgrimage center of India. We witness Ganga Artee (worshiping holy river Ganga) in the evening which is a very soul soothing ceremony just before darkness falls. En route we visit Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar.

    Day 03:RISHIKESH(340 m)

    Today we spend visiting some Ashrams, Yoga Centres and meeting some Sadhus in Rishikesh. Rishikesh is like Varanasi in terms of its exotic Picture of a Holy City of Hindus.

    Day 04:RISHIKESH/CORBETT(400 m)

    Drive 180 km. to Corbett. Sprawling over an area of 535 sq. Km. the Corbett National Park is situated in the foot hills of Shivalik Hills. The park is rich in wild life like Elephant, tiger, panther, sambhar, blue bull, hyena etc. Overnight in Lodge.

    Full day game viewing in Corbett National Park.

    Day 06: CORBETT/RANIKHET/KAUSANI(1890 m)

    Drive 184 km. to Kausani via Ranikhet .Ranikhet is 125 km from Corbett . Ranikhet is a hill station , idyllic in its charm with lots of pine trees and glorious view of Himalayas including Nanda Devi (7826 m)and Trishul (7025 m). Kausani is 59 km. from Ranikhet . Kausani offers an excellent view of Himalaya stretching over 300 km. Overnight in Hotel.

    Day 07:KAUSANI/BAGESHWAR/ALMORA(1650 m)

    Drive 117 km to Almora via Bageshwar. From Kausani road descends to Bajnath (19 km). The small town of Bajnath has distinctively carved 12th century temples. Almora is 79 km. from Bageshwar. Almora is a small hill station built on horse shoe-shaped ridge. Overnight in hotel.

    Day 08:ALMORA/JAGESHWAR/PITHORAGARH (1815 m)

    Drive 114 km. to Pithoragarh via Jageshwar. Jageshwar 35 km from Almora , in a serene wooded gorge famous for the164 ornamented temples built by Chand Rajas. Pithoragarh is the main town before Tibet and Nepal border. There are number of picturesque walks in the area. O/N in Simple Hotel.

    Day 09:PITHORAGARH/MUNSYARI (2290 m)

    Today we drive 148 km to Munsiari (very close to Pancha Chuli - five peaks). Munsiari was closed for foreign tourists due its proximity to Tibet border for many years. Now this area has been opened. Features of people of this village are mangoloid with Tibetan and Kumaoni mix race. O/N in Hotel.

    Day 10:10 MUNSIARI

    We spend one full day in exploring this beautiful valley by making some small walks enjoying views of Pancha Chuli and other mountains.

    Day 11:MUNSYARI/PITHORAGARH (1815 m)

    Drive back to Pithoragarh. O/N in Hotel.

    Day 12:PITHORAGARH/NAINITAL(1938 m)

    Drive 177 km to Nainital. Nainital is a hill station set around a small lake. Nainital is a popular as an family holiday center of India. Naina peak(2610 m) is a 5 km walk from the lake. From the top there are stunning view of the Himalaya including Nanda Devi. Overnight in a Hotel.

    Day 13:NAINITAL/KUCHESWAR

    Drive 222 km to Kucheswar. The rulers of Kucheswar, are Jats built their mud fort in 18th century . The Fort is situated in the midst of sugarcane fields and mango orchards and is very peaceful. Overnight in Mud Fort of Kucheswar.

    Day 14:KUCHESHWAR/DELHI

    Afternoon drive 80 km./2 hr to Delhi, later transfer to Airport.

    Day 15:DELHI/DEPARTURE

    Flight back home.
