    This is a very dedicated itinerary for those who would like to go in depth of Buddhism. It takes you not only through the Moon Land but also to Spiti and Lahaul valley which was unaccessible to foreign tourists until some years ago.

    Day 01:DELHI

    Full day sightseeing of Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Safdarjung Tomb, Humayun Tomb, Raj Ghat, Jama Masjid, India Gate Rashtrapati Bhawan. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 02:DELHI/LEH 3500 m

    Arrival and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free to acclimatize to the altitude. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 03:LEH

    Full day sightseeing of Shey , Tikse, Hemis. Shey was the summer Palace of the first king of Ladakh-built about 550 years ago. It has the largest copper statue of Buddha in Asia. We continue onwards to Tikse monastery which is 500 hundred year old . Also visit Hemis monastery, the largest and one of the most important monastery in Ladakh, founded about 350 years ago. Overnight at hotel

    Day 04:LEH/LAMAYURU /ALCHI

    Drive 120 km to Lamayuru which is set amidst stark and dramatic mountains. Enjoy the wonderful landscape. Drive back to Alchi which is about 50 km from Lamayuru , well known for Kashmiri style wall paintings. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 05:ALCHI/LEH

    Drive to Rizong monastery. After one and half km walk we reach the completely isolated monastery in the mid of the hills. It is hundred years old belonging to the Yellow Sect. We drive back to Leh enroute visiting Likir monastery which stands majestically on the hill with the future Buddha 23 m high besides it. It also houses a museum of Thankas and many other antiques. Overnight hotel.

    Day 06:LEH/TIGAR

    Early morning drive up the Nubra valley, which takes us to the Khardongla pass (5470 m). The highest motorable road in the world. From here you will get the spectacular view of the Karakoram range. Drive down to the valley of Nubra crossing the Shyok river, we reach Tigar . Evening walk to Samstanling monastery. It is a big complex of 7 temples. Overnight at camp.

    Day 07:TIGAR

    Drive about 50 km to Diskit monastery, which is about 700 years old and belongs to the Yellow Sects. From here we drive to Hunder monastery for about 5 km. It has a huge impressive statue of Maitria Buddha. We can also see the double hump camels. Overnight at camp.

    Day 08: TIGAR/LEH

    Early morning drive back to Leh through Khardongla. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 09: LEH/TSOMORIRI LAKE 4100 m

    Early morning we drive 240 km to Tsomoriri lake along the right bank of Indus river passing through different villages till Mahe bridge. From here drive along the rough dust road through Sumdo and Thatsang Karu lake. O/N camp.

    Day 10: TSOMORIRI

    After breakfast we walk to Korzok village to visit the monastery which is 350 yrs old belonging to the Yellow Sects and we can enjoy the spectacular view of the lake, then walk up to nomadic area. Overnight at camp.

    Day 11: TSOMORIRI/SARCHU

    Early morning we drive to Sarchu via Polokonka pass (4700 m) and Tsokar lake. Then we drive through the barren landscape of Ladakh crossing Lachungla pass (5060 m). Overnight at camp.

    Day 12: SARCHU/KEYLONG

    Morning we drive to Keylong crossing Baralacha la (4883 m) and enjoy the landscape. Then we descend to Darcha and Keylong. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 13:KEYLONG/LOSSAR 3900 m

    Drive to Lossar. From Tandi we drive along the Chandra river through rough road crossing Kunzumla pass (4500 m) and enjoy the landscape of Spiti valley. Overnight at guest house.

    Day 14:LOSSAR/KAZA 3460 m

    Morning we drive to Kaza, which is 4hr drive. Evening we drive to Kibber(4205 m) the highest village in the world. Enroute we visit Kye monastery(4116 m) the oldest and largest monastery in Spiti having a spectacular location. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 15: KAZA/TABO

    Morning we drive to Lalung village situated in Lingti valley and visit the monastery. It is more than 1000yrs old. Drive back to Tabo enroute visit Dankar monastery situated at a spectacular rocky setting. Overnight at guest house.

    Day 16: TABO/LOSSAR

    Morning visit the most important monastery in the Tibetan Buddhist World. It was built in the 996 AD, by the great translator Rinchen Zangpo. Also witness the prayer performed by the monks. Drive to Lossar via Kaza. O/N at hotel.

    Day 17: LOSSAR/MANALI

    Morning we drive 8hrs to Manali crossing Kunzumla pass and from Gramphu proceed further to Manali via Rotang pass(3978 m). Overnight at hotel.

    Day 18 & 19: MANALI/SHIMLA

    Early morning drive to Simla which was the most important British Hill station and the summer capital of India. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 20:SHIMLA/DELHI

    Morning drive 9hrs to Delhi. Overnight at hotel.

    Day 21: DELHI/DEPARTURE

    Drive to international airport for departure.
