Before we begin our journey to Rajasthan we visit Holy Ganga River in Rishikesh where we see thousands of colourful pilgrims and Sadhus who bathe in river Ganga. We also visit Corbett National Park where there is a possibility of seeing a Tiger.
01 DELHI
Arrive in Delhi. Transfer to the hotel after a warm welcome at the airport. Check into the hotel. Proceed for sightseeing of Old & New Delhi, visiting, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Shanti Van, Raj Ghat, Humayun Tomb, Qutab Minar and pass through India Gate and the architectural buildings of President House, and Parliament.
02 DELHI/RISHIKESH
Drive 230 km. to Rishikesh, situated at the bank of river Ganges, is known for Yoga, Meditation and Ayurvedic Centres. Its a very fascinating place to understand Hindu religion and pilgrims at the end of the journey of Garhwal and Kumaon Himalaya. Overnight in hotel.
03 RISHIKESH
Full day sightseeing of Rishikesh and Haridwar 24 km from Rishikesh. Evening witness Ganga Arti at the bank of river Ganges.
04 RISHIKESH/CORBETT
Drive 180 km. to Corbett. Sprawling over an area of 535 sq. Km. the Corbett national park is situated in the southeastern sector of Pauri Garhwal. The park is rich in wild life like Elephant, tiger, panther, sambhar, blue bull hyena etc. Overnight in Lodge
05 CORBETT
Full day Game viewing at Corbett National Park.
06 CORBETT/DELHI
Drive 275 kms to Delhi. Rest of the time at leisure.
07 DELHI/MANDAWA
We drive 240 kms to Mandawa through the half-desert of Shekhawati, a very original landscape, in which in the earlier days the Marwari tradesmen built their palaces tastefully. After arriving check-in at the Hotel and visit the Castle and the Havelis dating back to 18th Century famous for frescoes and painted walls.
08 MANDAWA/BIKANER
We drive through the desert of Thar to Bikaner. We shall see camel caravans, sheep-flocks, shepherds and nomads. Bikaner is a true desert town. We visit the fortress, the palace and the rat temple.
09 BIKANER/JAISALMER
Deep in the heart of Thar Desert, Jaisalmer is one of the last princely bastions in the region which 330 kms from Bikaner. Half day sightseeing of Jaisalmer visiting Jain Temples built in 1156 AD, Havelis or town-mansions celebrated for their architecture, Gharisagar and Amarsagar.
10 JAISALMER
Full day camel safari around Jaisalmer visiting Sand dunes.
11 JAISALMER/JODHPUR
Drive 320 kms to Jodhpur, one of the most distinctive princely states of Rajasthan. After check in the hotel, proceed for sightseeing, visiting, Mehrangarh Fort founded in 1459, Jaswant Thada and Mahamandir.
12 JODHPUR/UDAIPUR
Drive 290 kms to Udaipur, the city of Lakes On the way we visit Ranakpur temple. These are old Jain temples. Udaipur is a city of lakes and described as the most romantic city of India with its emerald lakes.
13 UDAIPUR
Full day sightseeing of Udaipur visiting City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Sahelion Ki Bari, the gardens of the maids-of-honour, Pratap Memorial, Fatehsagar and Lake Pichola.
14 UDAIPUR/PUSHKAR
Drive 270 kms to Pushkar, a very important pilgrim center for Hindus with its Hols Lake Many bathing Ghats and temples. For tourists, it is world famous for its huge Camel Fair W hen the town is thronged with tribal people from all over Rajasthan, pilgrims from all Over India, film makers, photographers and tourists from all over the world.
15 PUSHKAR/JAIPUR
Morning visit to the many bathing Ghats surrounding the Lake and the Brahma temple. Afternoon drive 150 kms to Jaipur popularly known as the Pink City. Jaipur is located at the edge of the great Indian Desert.
16 JAIPUR
After breakfast, drive for an excursion to Amber Fort, the once capital of the Jaipur State, where you go up the Fort on an elephant back. Drive Afterwards back to Jaipur to visit the City Palace, Observatory and bazaars.
17 JAIPUR/AGRA
Drive 240 kms to Agra, city of Taj Mahal visiting the sand stone city of Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Afternoon at leisure.
18 AGRA/DELHI
Sightseeing of Taj Mahal built by Shah Jehan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. It took 22 years and 20'000 people to build Taj Mahal. Also visit Agra Fort and the Itmad-Ud-Daula's Tomb and. Drive 210 kms to Delhi in the afternoon visiting enroute Sikandra Fort, the splendid mausoleum of the Emperor Akbar.
19 DELHI/DEPARTURE
Transfer to the international Airport and flight back.
