South India has some well known Parks for the wildlife viewing like Elephants and Tigers. Nagarhole National Park, Bandipur National Park and Periyar Wildlife Park are well known for the wildlife viewers of Elephants and tigers besides other wildlife animals like spotted wild dogs, gaur, spotted deer, sambhar and family of Deer species and Wild Boar.

01 MUMBAI/BANGALORE
Arrive in Mumbai and fly to Bangalore by early morning flight. Half day city sightseeing of Bangalore.

02 BANGALORE/MYSORE
Drive 150 kms to Mysore , the city of royal palaces and sandalwood. Enroute we visit Srirangapatnam, a fortified island site in Kaveri River. It has been home to religious reformers and military conquerors.

03 MYSORE/NAGARHOLE
Drive 100 km to Nagarhole. Nagarhole National Park has elephants, gaur (Indian bison), antelopes, sloth bears, sambhar and panthers.

05 NAGARHOLE /BANDIPUR NATIONAL PARK
Drive 120 kms to Bandipur National Park. Park is stretched across the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border and is known for the Elephants. Other wildlife animals that can be found here are spotted wild dogs, gaur, spotted deer, sambhar.

07 BANDIPUR /OOTY/METTUPALAYAM
Drive 90 kms to Ooty and then afternoon train to Mettupalayam on Nilgiri Ghat Road giving superb views over the plains below.

08 METTUPALAYAM/COCHIN
Drive to Cochin the well known harbour in the world.

09 COCHIN
Sightseeing of Cochin visiting Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Chinese Fishing Nets and Spice market. Evening watch Kathakali dance.

10 COCHIN/MUNNAR
Drive 160 kms to Munnar which is famous for its tea, pepper and rubber plantations.

11 MUNNAR/PERIYAR
Early morning visit Rajamalai National Visit to see Nilgiri Thar and then in the afternoon drive 110 kms to Periyar.

12 PERIYAR NATIONAL PARK
Visit Periyar National Park Game viewing.

13 PERIYAR /KUMARKOM
Drive 140 kms to Kumarkom from where we will begin our backwater journey to Allepey.

14 KUMARKOM/BACKWATER
Backwater cruising on Houseboat through the backwaters of lakes, lagoons, canals and nearby villages. Overnight in Houseboat.

15 BACKWATER/COCHIN/MUMBAI
Drive to Cochin for evening flight to Mumbai.

16 MUMBAI/DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport for onward departure.
